1650

Satria with evil eyes mechanicat, Putput

I sent my 10 years old dependable, loyal and full of characters (scratches) Satria for his 5000km services last weekend and I told my mechanic that there are some leaking, some sound, the handbrake that did not brake properly and the air conditioning that did not condition. My mechanic, Andy, took it as a challenge that cost me 2 days and a dent in my pocket.

Evidences of the dent

Andy's crews changed the leaking rear brake pump, wiper that did not wipe, brake fluid, aircond compressor, rusted cooling coil and valve. All in all, plus services, broke my budget for April in the value of RM1650. My pocket and heart drop a silent tear of goodbye to my departed hard earn dinero. I miss you.

When I went home, I took a look at the engine for the new expensive part - the compressor. I cannot see anything new in the engine. Not that I know what an aircond compressor look like. Hahaha. What a waste of time, but the aircond blow nice cooling air into the interior.

Putput the evil eyes mechanicat looking for problem

I heard of stories where car owner cheated by mechanic that charge parts that they did not change or charge higher price or made up stories of non existing problem or broke instead of fix the car or ..... Basically they are greedy satanic mechanic. I gave a hard look at Andy today. Fortunately he did not look satanic (or greedy) to me. I still trust my mechanic.
