This weekend is Aida (neighbour) 3 days wedding starting from Friday. Congratulation Aida.
I was assigned to boil 90 eggs for the wedding favor (Bunga Telor - direct translation = Flower Egg). We need hard boil eggs for the bunga telor.
How to boil the 90 eggs?
Step 1. We need 90 eggs - wash with water. Washing liquid is not require except if you want your egg to taste soapy:
Step 2. We need one big pot. Place washed eggs in the pot:
Step 3. Add water in the pot. Eggs must be submerged under the water:
Step 4. Add a spoon full of salt in the pot for taste:
Step 5. Place the pot on the stove and start the fire. You can sing the Firestarter song by The Prodigy (lyric) while on this step:
Step 6. Leave the egg to boil for 25 to 30 minutes.
Step 7. Once the water started boiling violently, take one egg out to check if the eggs is cooked. How to check? a) My theory - If the water around the egg evaporated quickly, the egg is cooked. b) My Neighbour's sister theory - If you spin the egg and the egg spins easily, the egg is cooked. c) A confirm theory - peel the egg's shell and check it out.
Step 8. Once the eggs are boiled, removed the water and take out the eggs. If the eggs cracked a little, don't worry so much. When the egg cool down the crack will disappear (the heat and expansion theory from primary school science class).

The Office: Rainy Season
Do you want to know how your office will look when its rain in the inside?
This is how it will look.
Rain in progress. Loyal employees was trying to save electrical equipments and limit the damage to the carpet.
The waterfall effect.
Umbrella is an important tool.
The asbestos ceiling cover soaked through and dropped.
Important tools no 2 : Rubbish baskets for water retention. Red and Blue is nice combi-colour. Blue for water and red for danger danger.
Holes in the sky.
More holes in the sky with less waterfall effect. Something was switched off to slow down and stop the rain.
Maybe water with electricity not a good combination. Let switch off the light.
Cleaning in progress.
Closer look at the holes in the sky with some dangling thing. What is that?
Some important man accessing the damage or thinking...
Oh! Shit Oh! Shit, I am screwed.
Verdicts
1/3 office gone
1/2 days less productivities
1/3 employees displaced
a few tables need to be replaced
It was an interesting day.

Been There : Koh Samed, Thailand
A month has passed since Nan and my 4 M's (Massage, Makan, Melepak, Membuta) holiday, and today while my laziness not at level HIGH - I blog.
We started our journey by van from Victory Monument in Bangkok. We have to wait until the van full before we can leave. Cannot remember how much it cost. Could be around 200 to 300 Baht maybe.
The journey took 2.5 hours from Bangkok to the jetty in Rayong. The van was really full and we sat all the way to the back. Not comfortable. Next time either take the bus or drive.
We were dropped directly at the Sribanphe Pier to catch our boat to Koh Samed.
We paid the 50 Baht per person ticket and waited for the boat.
And it started raining.
The island can be seen from the jetty. Not far, but the boat was slow. Got to pay more (2000 Baht) to get there faster by speed boat.
After 1 hour in the slow pink boat (really - it was painted pink and lavender), we arrived at Koh Samed's jetty. I like this jetty, more activities and colourful boats.
From the jetty, we took a pick-up across the island to Ao Phrao beach where our hotel was located.
We stayed in Lima Coco Resort which have yellow steps to the rooms and ...
beach front facing Bagus Cafe.
We spent our days here eating,
walking around the beach and relaxing,
and Mafia Warring (Nan was Farming most of the time). We did massage as well, but was not that great. I swam a lot, but Nan have something against swimming - could be water was the factor.
The weather was cooling with rain now and then which was pretty exciting for me. I love rain.
There was a fire show at night as well.
